Monday (May 6, 1974) at Ingham County Extended Care Facility near Lansing. daughter of Joseph F. and Flora (McDaniel) Swartz, she was born March 25, 1904 in Washington. She was graduated from Blue Ridge College at New Windsor, Md. and received her master's degree from Miami University at Oxford, Ohio.

She was a member of the Church of the Brethren and the AAUW. Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, Mrs. Edgar Flora of Mt. Sidney, the Rev. Norman J.

of Richmond, J. Kenneth of Newark, N.J. and J. Gordon Wilson of Bondville, eight grandchildren, and two brothers, George W. of Richmond and Dr.

J. F. Swartz of Youngstown, Ohio. A brief service will be conducted 1:20 p.m. Friday from the chapel of the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home with graveside following at 2 p.m.

in Bank Church Cemetery by the Rev. Guy E. Wampler. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 12:20 1:20 p.m. Friday.

MRS. ETHEL RUSMISEL HARRISONBURG Miss Ethel Rusmisel, 78, of 495 S. Mason St. died 3:45 a.m. today (May 9, 1974) at her residence.

Waynesboro crew raises $16,000 WAYNESBORO The Waynesboro First Aid crew has raised more than $16,000 dollars toward its goal of $33,000 in its current fund drive. The turnout for the first night of the crew's Fun-A-Thon was described as "pretty good" by a crew spokesman Thursday morning. Guilty of giving false information WAYNESBORO Brenda Ann Davis Harner, 29, of 151 Charlotte was convicted in General District Court Wednesday of two counts of giving false information to obtain public assistance. The two charges were based on information she gave the Public Assistance Waynesboro Department. of 1973 and January 1974 in violation of Section 63.1-124 of the State Code. Judge T. N.

Cooley sentenced Mrs. Harner to 10 days in jail on each count. A six-month sentence on each count was suspended. In addition, she paid court costs totalling $21.50. She was represented by Gordon W.
