I just checked, mine is secured to the firewall just as in the photos above. I'm cancelling that "all day" appointment to do what took me 15 seconds to do. I'll have them "check it" next oil change while it's there just to clear the recall.

Well, it's a clutch problem and it's a hydraulic clutch...so yeah.

Had a look under the hood. The recall says behind the dash.
I did see one retainer for the clutch hose. It's a plastic retainer at the end of a stud.
It's holding at the tip of the stud.
I was able to squeeze my arm down there but can't push it further on the post. Looks secure though.
I did the same thing and it appears that it doesn't go all the way onto the threaded bolt stud. I tried pushing my on some more but it didn't move so I would say it's fine. I'll find out Monday morning when I take my car in to have it looked at.

Yeah, I'm in the club too. I have an appointment for Monday, but if that picture is what we need to look at, I may just check mine and cancel if all is good. Ford said they would need my car all day because their tech is too busy right now.
My dealer said the same thing about needing the car "all day". Probably to let the engine cool.

I just checked mine. All secure. I'll wait until the techs on my area to have seen several of these before I go down there to the dealership and sit for a few hours. Looks like there's no real issue from what I see on mine and all y'all's. Those going in next week please post the results and if they even had to fix anything. TIA.

Great information on this thread. I'm going to check mine. If it looks good I'll just wait until my first oil change to have it done.

Area Looking (right behind driver's firewall):
Suspected problem child:
For those that are curious: mine was mfg in 06/23 - 401A GT PP
I have my recall service appointment scheduled for first thing tomorrow.

^^ thanks for that info matey.! So helpful this thread! Love it!
I followed the line as below:
which leads to the insulated line fixed to the stud close to the firewall and it is secured
checked for wiggle, pushed it to verify it’s in place and it’s looking good.
I might cancel the appointment with the dealer and wait for a bit and see what everybody else is reporting here.
@roket - would be able to shed more details on this recall?
Thank you all for the support and pics here - so helpful!

my dealer has not gotten one in for this recall, but i recommend still going to the dealer so the recall itself can be closed, as Ford probaby has you vehicle flagged in OASIS as with an open recall

Understood - thanks for the inputs. I just want to make sure that the techs at my dealer don’t eff anything else up.
Will take it to make sure whatever needs to be closed in relation to the recall is taken care of. Thanks for the response.

What is OASIS and what does it mean for my car if I leave the recall open for, say, 6 months?
