DIY Recipe: How to Make Rose Gold with Rose Petal Bath Bombs
It wasn’t until this year that I discovered bath bombs and I am obsessed! These little magical orbs of soothing goodness are my new favorite treat. As a Mom, entrepreneur (work from home), housewife and chronic illness collector, I am always in pain and super busy, but especially since my latest stroke in June (5th minor stroke in 8 years) I’ve made it a point to pay close attention to my body, mind, and heart… literally! I hope you enjoy this DIY Recipe: How to Make Rose Gold with Rose Petal Bath Bombs and let us know what you think!
I now make sure I take breaks, lunch breaks, self-care moments as I feel necessary for myself. It has done wonders for my mental health! My favorite thing I do for myself is scheduling 2 hours of “me time” one morning a week, I get to play loud music, take a very long bath and just soak my stressors away. It helps when my bath bombs are scented or colorful because I am a girly-girl! Out of all the bathbombs we have created, this recipe is my absolute favorite, I hope you like it! DIY Recipe: How to Make Rose Gold with Rose Petal Bath Bombs.
Supplies Needed for Rose Gold with Rose Petal Bath Bombs:
- 2/3 cup of Arm & Hammer Pure Baking Soda
- 3 tablespoons of 100% Pure Food Grade NON-GMO Citric Acid
- 1.5-ish tablespoons of Witch Hazel (water will also work)
- ¼ teaspoon Pink Himalayan Salt Extra-Fine Grain
- A dash of bronze powder
- Dried rose petals (dried at home or purchased here)
- Bath Bomb Mold Set (I purchased the complete set, but you may buy just the molds if you wish)
Directions
- Set up the bronze powder inside the fizzie molds, you can do just one or both halves of the molds.
- Put a tiny bit on a spoon and then tap it into the mold cups.
Cut the rose petals into tiny pieces and lay them into the mold with the bronze powder.
Mix the citric acid and baking soda together in a cereal sized bowl, make sure they are thoroughly combined.
If you would like, some crushed rose petals could added into the dry mix as well.
- Slowly pour in the witch hazel or water just a little at a time, it will bubble up when you add it, just keep mixing it. You want to only add enough liquid to get the consistency of damp sand that will clump together.
- Press the mixture into each half of the fizzle mold, you’ll want to over fill each half and then twist and press them together.
- Wipe off any extra and then gently remove the molds and set the fizzles off to the side to dry.
- Give the bath fizzies about 24 hours to dry before planning to use them.
- Store the extras in an air tight container until you’re ready to add them to a warm bath.
